Synopsis
Scrubber is capable to treat dust, bad odor and harmful gases simultaneously
by filtering through the formation of liquid membrane and make these contact
with dust gas.
Water is used as rinsing solution in most cases but solvent is also used depending
on solubility of the pollutants. Horizontal type or vertical type can be selected
depending on the condition of working site with best efficient facility through
optimum design.
Structure of filling tower
General structure of filling tower is consisted of shell, filling stuffs,
liquid distributer, supporting panel for filling stuffs and inlet/outlet of
gas and liquid.
Design factor
- Liquid gas ratio : 1.0~10ℓ/㎥
- Fluidal velocity of gas : 0.3~1 m/sec
- pressure loss :about 50 mmHg
